Purpose of this blog...

Through observational research and a collaboration of my own personal experiences, I have decided to project my thoughts, ideas, and research into a more relatable word format. Through the help of this blog, it is in my hopes to expand my research with the help of the thoughts and experiences of others. By doing so, it is my end goal to organize this information, as well as a pleather of thoughts in a collective way. However, such said information does not collaboratively come together over night, and such a journey will take much time, effort, and dedication. However, I am prepared to take each step in order to reach my ultimate goal of someday publishing my own book.  The topic of oppression is one that I feel very passionate about, and as a woman I find a sense of empowerment through sharing my thoughts and feelings about this subject. If you have read my opening title, you understand that I wish to create a safe space for those who wish to join me in this journey of fighting oppression, maltreatment, and discrimination. For those who don't know, I often refer to my vast amount of ideas as, "The Black Parade," which can be thought of as a spiraling black hole of feelings, emotions, and thoughts that bombard my head. This reference is also a reminded that the world we live in is not necessarily black and white, but a pleather of colors. Through this we must remember to explore both sides of the story, and opinions of the topic at hand to avoid bias ideas and misconception of the subject. It is important to be respectful to other's thoughts and ideas, even when they are vastly disagreed on. By doing so, we can take our first step towards fighting, and eventually ending oppression.
